If you’re looking for the person and team to upgrade or fix your home Bill Powers and his crew are the best. The work they do is superb. In our case Bill and his team saved us from a shady contractor. He inherited a mess of a job and finished the job with great results. In the case of my wife and I, we moved to Tulsa and under budget constraints and the advice of my realtor we hired a handyman to remodel our bathroom. To make a long story short, we had a handyman contractor talk a big game and say he could do it all himself. We paid him and things went from bad to worse. Well past the time we should’ve fired him, I reached out to Bill and he came in personally to inspect and form an action plan. Shortly thereafter we fired the fly-by-night contractor and hired Bill to salvage the bathroom and complete it before our first baby was to arrive (within a couple months). Bill and his team took what I thought would be a disaster and turned into a fully operational and beautiful bathroom remodel (in time for our baby to arrive). They fit us into their already full schedule and that first of many clues that Bill and his team really care about their clients and want to do right and good for people. Bill is the face, but Perry, Boyd, Blake, Julie, Rick, Craig, Mauricio, and the rest go their team was excellent. Bill has the best people in all areas and they are truly delightful to not only work on your home but talk too as well. I felt like any of them could be family or friends and never felt uncomfortable with them in my home. They had my trust completely. Whether you’re under a budget or not, if you want the job done right and by an outstanding team, then hire Bill. We could’ve just saved ourselves more money, time, and headaches and hired the team that would’ve done it right the first time. Bill, it took me a year to review you…I’m sorry, but thank you so much. We’re still as happy as we were then and I’ll recommend no one else but you for home remodels and upgrades…or also if they need bailed out of a sketchy remodel by a bad contractor. Thank you!

I has been nearly three years since Powers Design and Build completed a beautiful kitchen remodel for our home. Recently, I noticed the finish on some of my beautiful cabinets was peeling around the knob handles. After contacting Bill Powers about this he immediately sent Julie Fulton out to inspect the cabinet doors. They agreed that this should not be happening, contacted the manufacturer's rep and within weeks ordered a complete new set of cabinet doors for my ENTIRE kitchen. This would ensure that the shade of the finish on ALL my cabinet doors would match perfectly. The process was completed quickly, efficiently, and FREE of charge. Powers Design and Build just completed a substantial renovation of my nearly 100-year-old home, including the creation of a primary suite and full renovation of an additional bathroom. From our first meeting, I was impressed with Bill’s (and Julie’s) hands-on approach. He responded quickly to my initial inquiry and sent me a proposed design and tentative budget shortly thereafter. The design demonstrated that Bill had listened to my ideas during our initial meeting and respected the character of my home. Throughout the renovation, he was frequently on site and was always accessible by phone and email. I can count on one hand the number of days my house was not bustling with construction activity during the 5-month project and everyone who played a role in the project was competent, professional, and committed to ensuring my satisfaction. Many of them have been working with Bill for decades. Because of the age of my house and the amount of deferred maintenance, unexpected issues delayed completion of my project. But I was grateful that Bill addressed these issues head-on with concern for my safety and the integrity of my home. I am thrilled with the results and can give Powers Design and Build my highest recommendation.
