Bill Powers Owner/Manager:

Head of Planning and Development – Powers Design and Build, LLC is a “Boutique Building Company”.  Our clients work with Bill throughout the process.  We generally have 4-6 projects in production at any given time which allows him the time to guide each client through the design process including all selections, bidding and the actual production of each project to completion.

2017 marks Bill’s 38th year owning his own building business.  His educational background is in business and project management.  For the first 10 years Bill did all the design work, pricing and selling of all projects and Bill did a lot of the work with his crew.  He found over time that he was a better designer and businessman and have since left the actual construction to the artisan-craftsmen we have who really enjoy that aspect.  Bill finds great pleasure in this work and he insists that our clients do the same.  In today’s world it is a great privilege to do this kind of work and for the people that are our clients to be able to afford to modify their homes is a blessing, so my goal is for everyone to enjoy the process.  A promise Bill makes to clients is that if they employ our firm, we will be friends when we are done.  Everyone wants a good experience and it takes constant management of expectations and delivery of good results to have a good experience.  With over 1,00 projects completed, we can deliver on promises made.

On a personal note, besides the building business, Bill loves to cook and entertain.  He also reads quite a bit and likes to write.  In fact, at this time he is working on his second novel, Hunter’s Bridge.  Bill is happily married and lives in south Tulsa with his wife, Julie, 2 dogs and a cat.  They currently have 4 married children and a total of 7 grandchildren with whom they enjoy spending quite a bit of time.

Julie Fulton – Designer/Office Manager:

Office Manager, Designer – Julie has worked for Powers Design & Build for the past 20+ years.  Her position with Powers Design and Build first started out as a one day a week bookkeeping position that has changed over the years to include being the office manager, website content designer and interior designer/cabinetry orders manager.

Julie lives in South Tulsa and is happily married with three children. She is very active in her community, church, and children’s schools (Jenks -GO TROJANS!- and the University of Arkansas -GO HOGS!).  She enjoys working, playing, cooking, gardening, family time, lake time, and Cabo time!  She has a dog named Maggie and 2 cats named Lucky and Luna.

Kenny Martin, Plans Development:

Plans Development – Kenny graduated from Kansas State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture. He has 20 years in residential, tenant improvement, and small commercial projects, with a focus on upper end and custom residential. Kenny has received multiple awards in the housing industry over the last eight years in the greater Tulsa area. Kenny works closely with Powers Design and Build, LLC to provide excellent quality design and details, tailor made to the individual clients. It is his constant endeavor to provide a great experience from design to the ease of execution.
